The team at Douglas Mercer & Son funeral directors have hailed the support of local residents in Bexhill following the success of an open day held to celebrate the launch of the new branch in the town.
The funeral directors, which has been serving the community in Bexhill from its branch in Hastings since 1897, welcomed almost 100 guests to the event, including ministers, florists and registrars, as well as members of the general public. Since the branch was officially opened a month ago, an abundance of residents have visited Douglas Mercer & Son on St Leonards Road to offer their support and place messages of remembrance on a memorial Christmas tree at the branch.
